More CPR Red Cross volunteers trained...
Helped set up another CPR class to train our Disaster Action Team volunteers for the Red Cross today. I would encourage everyone to take a CPR/AED/First Aid class with their local American Red Cross!

Tool Belt Jim's dad in the shed...
Stopped in to see how Tool Belt Jim's dad was getting along. Found him working in his shed so snapped a quick picture. So glad he is back on his feet and able to get outside and do the things he loves to do. Missed getting to see Tool Belt Jim's mom cause she had went to town for a dentist appointment.
Slowly working my way back towards home. It's been a nice morning driving the back roads and enjoying the change of seasons. And even though rain had been predicted, I never ran into any. Good thing cause my "new" wipers didn't seem to be working so good. Can say the same thing for my lights. They need adjusted even though Tool Belt Jim tells me he can't see a problem with them.

Had a Red Cross meeting in the city so spent the night and then took the scenic way home through the countryside. Had my camera with me so snapped some pictures of buildings many no longer being used. But what stories and memories they could tell us if only they could talk.

Now that is one large pumpkin ...Son Kevin....
Reminds me of something I read:Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff--including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.
Happy Fall Everyone!

Baby Kaden today...
It's been a while since I updated my blog with pictures of Kaden. He's gaining weight and doing great.
He really, really, really likes being held. He just got over having this flu stuff. I keep reminding God grandchildren are an inheritance of the Lord. He got held a lot when he had the flu. I stayed at their house and slept with him in my arms.

Watchman, What do you see?
I was awake at midnight the other night and I feel like God asked me the age old question He has asked before "Watchman, what do you see?"
I see the harvest is ready....
and there is a change of seasons....

I see the harvest is ready....
and there is a change of seasons....
My question is, What do you see and what do you hear the Lord is saying in this day and hour we live in?
My prayer is that God would fine tune my ability to see as well as hear what He is both speaking to me and wanting me to see. I want to see with my spiritual eyes as well as with my natural eyes. And I also pray for understanding of what I am seeing.
I'm still pondering that question! Watchman, what do you see....

Tool Belt Jim has a friend who wants to make his wife a bed and table out of this log. I told him we would take a before and after picture. He's also my friend cause he brought me a smoked ham and tenderloin. Love that smoked meat!! I froze it and now I have a head start on Thanksgiving!!!

Working again...
We're hurrying up to get the gazebo finished before cold weather hits.
What is grandson Mark thinking? He's studying something out.
Tool Belt Jim and friend are measuring intently.
Must be accurate.
