We were treated like queens!

Peggy and Susan hosted a delicious sit down lunch for some of the volunteers that work in our local office today. Peggy made the best pork tenderloin I have ever had cooked in jellied cranberry sauce and orange juice and brown sugar. And Susan made the most wonderful potato casserole that just melted in your mouth. Wonderful salad with broccoli and cauliflower in it, hot rolls with butter... and the table settings were extra special dishes and glasses.
and then to top it all off, there was an ice cream pie dessert with crushed peppermint in it and chocolate drizzled over the top. Lordy, Lordy! After that I really needed a nap. But, it's been a busy week for fires in our office so back to work we went.
Thanks Peggy and Susan for such a delightful surprise! Now we just need all the recipes!

Just stopping by to say Merry Christmas. I also love your memory window from your previous post. What a great idea.
