Another DAT class

We had another DAT class tonight in a small town in the county next to where I live. DAT stands for Disaster Action Team and we train volunteers to go out after a disaster usually a fire and help the families both financially and emotionally. This is my niece Melissa and another volunteer practicing interviewing each other.
We train volunteers to be prepared to help in their local community in the event of a disaster. I would encourage everyone to join their local American Red Cross and become trained in disaster relief. It will make you feel good to know you will be helping your friends and neighbors during a time of crisis.
